Parish Mission Statement

"May the Lord bind us together as a community of

faith with His love. Let us go forth and spread

His Good News as St. John preached:
"Children, let us love not in word or speech,

but in deed and truth."

The Parish is a Way of Life

"The Parish is where the Church lives. Parishes are communities of faith, of action and of hope. They are where the Gospel is proclaimed and celebrated, where believers are formed and sent to renew the earth. Parishes are the place where God's people meet Jesus in word and sacrament and come in touch with the source of the church's life. " American Bishop's Pastoral Letter, 1993

St. Clare's Parish is our spiritual home. It is where hopefully through worship and prayer, love and life, friendships and relationships, the people who comprise its membership meet God. To accomplish this objective, it is important that each member feel included and welcome and encouraged to be active in faith.

We welcome you to St. Clare's and deeply hope that your life in the Parish helps you and your loved ones to find God as friend and saving grace.

St. Clare - St. Francis of Assisi - St. Thomas More Cluster

Clusters of parishes have been formed throughout the Archdiocese of Boston to increase the effectiveness of each parish in accomplishing its three-fold mission of worship, evangelization and pastoral care.

The Braintree Catholic Cluster unites the Parish of St. Clare with St. Francis of Assisi and St. Thomas More Parishes in a unique body of unity and care. Clergy and lay leaders from all three parishes are working together to explore ways to share events, such as missions and sacramental celebrations, and offer resources and support to each other.

We hope you will find the information on this website helpful in your journey in faith with us.
